Greetings in love! Although some of you know my background  already, some of you may not. So here is a quick personal history tour.  I was born in New York City, New York July 5, 1945 and began my musical journey way back in 1952.  I remember as a young boy growing up in Coney Island, being held in rapt attention, by the musical 'sounds' of the time.  I would listen to the most current songs being played, captivated with the juke box by day and the radio at night...I sometimes dreaded sleep...afraid I might miss something.  My most favorite songs, I sang over and over until I fell asleep.  Many of those songs, the ones that made such an impact on me...that left such an indelible mark on my heart, soul, and mind back then...are today just as fresh, invigorating, and soul stirring. While most  art forms are to be appreciated, music is truly a great art and meant to be enjoyed. It is the universal language of our planet and  meant to be shared with others. As a singer, I try to give as much to a performance as I am able...but no matter how much I give, it pales in comparison to what I get back from an apprecative audience.
I still remember listening to the teenagers harmonizing out on the street corners and hallways of tenement buildings...I was so taken with the 'street corner sound' that I just had to give it a try myself...which, of course, I did and my heart's been held captive ever since. I would like to express my gratitude to all those wonderful singers, musicians, really ALL those super talented performing artists who have inspired me and touched my heart with their music. I suppose I could ramble on and on about who were my favorites...drop a few names I've worked with in my career, who were my most influential artists, etc...BUT! That would only tire my fingers...and your brain. I will say this though...some of the most talented singers that I ever heard were on the street corners in the inner city (the five boroughs) of New York...and most of those kats may  never have made it into the recording studio.  They may be faded from view, but not from my mind and heart....and to them I give my deepest and most humble thanks!!
Good fortune came my way in late 1963 when I auditioned outside of Surf Lanes bowling alley for Mike Lewis. Mike was first tenor and leader of a well established doo-wop group called the Concords...I must have passed the audition as I sang lead with them until 1966.  Later in that same year the Concords recorded their last record 'I Feel a Love Coming On' & 'Down the Aisle of Love'...shortly thereafter we parted company and each of us went our separate ways.
I hope you enjoy this web site...feel free to ask me any question regarding to my musical adventure...I promise you that I will answer each and every one. Feel free express your musical thoughts....share pictures, stories...etc. Eventually I hope to have all my recordings along with some of my favorite song's up on the site for you to enjoy...just like listening to the juke box, as I did so many years ago."Two Cents Plain, Nothing Fancy." I hope the music will bring back into focus some warm, sweet memories...for all who get on board.

peace & love

"Yeah you can count on it
when I grow up I'm gonna
sing Doo-Wop!"
It's all about the music!
While it is true I love a good Gospel tune, I love a GOOD tune of ANY kind... Doo-Wop, 50's and 60's Rock and Roll.  I am always open to finding your favorite tunes and working them into my shows. But hey! What are they?  Talk to me!
